Where's the Peace?

The Arabs and the Israelis do nothing but fight,
For land, peace, and a god given right.
They are in a conflict only about land,
Which is just a hot dessert full of dry sand.
Americans are helping Israelis build a great wall,
While the Palestinians want the million dollar project to fall.
A possible solution is not with violence,
Both groups need to come together and make an alliance.

  1. I really like your poem and how it rhymed. Also, I liked how you say the solution is not with violence. Good Job!!!

  2. Patrick, I too like that you advocate for non-violent solutions and your last line is true. A few things you could work on... I'd like to see more figurative language and imagery, and the land they are fighting over is some of the most fertile land in the Middle East...though parts of it are desert like. (Proofread for errors like dessert).
