True Happiness is what everyone wants,
it really only happens just once.
This only comes true for a select few,
if you live your life right it could be you.
Be true to yourself and act as you are,
your life and your happiness will go far.
Treat people how you want to be treated,
do this and you will never be defeated.
Life is short so live it fast,
live everyday like it was your last.
Live by this and life will be great,
just overall love and no more hate.

Blayne, I love this! It's really good. I like the rhyme - it adds so much. This is actually inspiring and totally you. I'd say dont change a thing.

ReplyDeleteBlayne, I like the message of your poem. Nice job incorporating the golden rule and advice about living each day as if it were your last. It seems so easy. I do think the rhyme and rhythm complement your message, though I would like to see more visual and sensory imagery incorporated.
