Art - Katie Hitchcock

I am an expression of the soul,
story of the mind,
painting of the heart.

I lie in the eye of the beholder.
Where do I end?
Where do I start?

I am noticeable,
intriguing,
sweet or tart.

I spring from everything,
obvious or subtle.
Who ever could I be? Simply art

  1. i dont have to tell you again but i love this poem! it seems like you didnt have to force anything but it just came naturally. I think it would be awesome if you could incorperate this in a piece of art. I also love your rhyming scheme

  3. Katie, I love the first stanza of this poem and the line "I spring from everything." The subtle rhyme works well. I would like to see a little more visual imagery, but that might be difficult since your poem is about art in general and not a single piece.
