The courage and hope

kids becoming men
men becoming soldiers
showing hope and happiness
courage becomes stronger in their life's
having to be at risk
no time for tears
fight for their countries
their purpose is to survive
killing is not a choice
at time in war
people dying every hour
remembering our brothers
mothers missing their children
no one can be sure
to obtain the cure of war
they know to be secure
we have hope see them out of there
is unfair but there no one else that cares

  1. Jose, I really like the first two lines in this poem - it shows the cycle of how war carries on through the generations... no one has found a "cure" as you put it.
