Players Burden

No girl ever meant more than booze

Spend a night with them then you’ll lose

Slippin out quick-out the back door

She wadn’t right for ya if she left

All she was a dirty theft

I want a real girl, blonde with legs up to her chin

That’s how ya know you really win

I want a brunette with library glasses

Not a rich bitch from the upper classes

Problem is I don’t attract the good girls

I get all the bad ones, all the gold diggers

Bring the wrong drink; they’ll pull the gun triggers

I want a girl and need her

Heart-stopping hundred-three degree fever

Where's the Peace?

The Arabs and the Israelis do nothing but fight,
For land, peace, and a god given right.
They are in a conflict only about land,
Which is just a hot dessert full of dry sand.
Americans are helping Israelis build a great wall,
While the Palestinians want the million dollar project to fall.
A possible solution is not with violence,
Both groups need to come together and make an alliance.

To the Snow God

Oh please dear snow god send some snow my way
just an inch or two would make my day
skiing, sledding, snow angels, snowmen
are all things your snowflakes send

When you're not there, it's hard to do
all the things for which my love is true
I'll do a dance, or sing a song,
but holding back is just so wrong!

Love You, My Daughter LBradfield

I felt my heart stop thumping
for that moment when I heard
my daughter had been murdered
by a successful suicide bombers mission.
my head suddenly exploded
with thoughts of how this could happen,
along with the feeling of disbelief.
I hear her soft voice,
from that morning, “bye mom, love you.
I will see you tonight,” as she bidded me goodbye.
little did I know, that was the last time I heard her
and the last time I saw her beautiful being.
her long black hair tied in a high ponytail and her dark skin glowed.
that morning was also the last time I fel her warming touch when she hugged me
and felt her warm luscious lips against my forehead,
like a light butterfly kiss.
remembering my daughter,
made my eyes immediately shed salty tears, angrily yelling and asking God,
“why my daughter, why did this have to happen to her?”

Peace is... By: Carly Fox

Peace isn't marked by prayer flags swaying in the Himalayan breeze,
Or by free-spirited hippies making protests in the sixties.
It is not the absence of pain or fear or stress.
It's being in the midst of those things and acting with poise and finesse.
Peace is a complex idea; it's not given to the naive.
It's given only to those who understand that it's the highest you can achieve.
It has infinite power to reconcile friendship and overcome the power of wars.
Peace is the gift that keeps on giving, always opening up new doors.

To my best friend
Although your life has ended
Our hearts will forever mend
I have hopes that you will run and play
like you used to back in the day
Realizations of this gentle circle we call life
have made me live and love
Someday we will meet again
and pick up ties where they were
meant to end.

What??

How will it be?
With out You and Me,
Together forever,
When we had to go our seperate ways,
and not together for all the days.
We had enjoyed so much
and will definately miss each
You will sure be missed!
We love You!
